img_20160919_210945This craft will need a few minutes’ preparation in cutting out the rough paper shapes beforehand, but they’re not difficult.

You will need:

  • Sea life stickers including crabs, shells etc
  • Yellow, blue and brown and/or grey paper
  • Glue
  • (optionally) Crayons

Make the picture on a yellow piece of paper – sugar paper will give a good sandy effect! Cut out a pool from blue paper (you should get two pools from a sheet) and rocks of assorted shapes and sizes from as many shades of brown or grey as you have.

The children should glue the pool and a selection of rocks to the sandy background sheet. Then they can apply stickers to populate the pool. If they like to draw you can give them green and brown crayons to add seaweed.
