This sheep has a cotton wool body and clothes pegs for legs, so he can stand up in your Nativity scene. Of course, sheep are not just for Christmas and could be made at any time of year.
You will need:
- White card
- Black crayons / pens / pencils
- Clothes pegs (the sort with a spring in the middle)
- Googly eyes
- Cotton wool
- Glue
Draw a sheep’s body and head on the card. You don’t need to be particularly good at drawing as most of your deficiencies will be covered up by the cotton wool.
Get the children to colour the sheep’s head and stick a googly eye on each side; cotton wool should be teased out and glued to the sheep’s body on each side. Then clip on the clothes peg legs and your sheep should stand up!
